Top Japanese Ramen Franchise Expands into NYC | IPG is hired to Find Location

A top Ramen franchise in Japan, Sapporo Ramen & Grill, has decided to expand to culinary capital, New York City.

Kenny Yin, owner of the Sapporo Ramen & Grill franchise, has years of experience running many restaurants across the world. He has had other Asian/Asian fusion restaurants in New York City, including one located in the World Trade Centre.

The Sapporo Ramen opening up on west 49th street is the first of the franchise to open in America. It is scheduled to open in early August.

Yin sought out IPG Real Estate to assist with finding the location for Sapporo Ramen & Grill. Complications arose due to the inexpensive menu meaning that rent could not be sky-high. Being in New York City, this is often a problem. Keith Radhuber, Managing Director of IPG Real Estate, was dedicated to finding a space for Mr. Yin that fit his location and budgetary needs.

“I always try to get the best possible spaces for my client no matter how long it takes” says Radhuber in regards to his dedication of nine months to find the perfect space for
Sapporo Ramen & Grill. “Our goal is to get our client as happy as possible. A goal that be on every agent’s radar, but unfortunately isn’t”.
