A home that is in as near-perfect condition as possible is said to be in mint condition. When a home is listed in mint condition, it is in like-new condition inside and out. This designation is normally only given to brand new homes or ones that are fairly new; however, it can also be given to older homes that have been extensively remodeled. Some of the factors used to determine whether a house is in mint condition are the paint, fixtures, and floor coverings among other things. These should be recently installed and show very little signs of wear. A home’s roof, windows, and exterior siding also play a role in the overall condition it is rated. Homes that are in mint condition show no signs of structural defects inside or out.
