Bedford-Stuyvesant, located in Brooklyn, New York, has become the new home for many. The now trendy and cool neighbourhood has even taken people away from their Upper East Side apartments.
Bedford-Stuyvesant, home to around 155,000 residents, used to be seen as a dangerous portion of Brooklyn, but crime rates have dropped significantly since the 20th century. Recent statistics show that this is now a very safe community with reasonable and comparable prices to other parts of Brooklyn.
Row house brownstones are common in the area with some being broken up into apartments. The brownstones are typically 3-4 stories high and feature basements. With restaurants, bars, and shops popping up all around the community, there is always something to do. Bedford-Stuyvesant also features three parks and both private and public schools. There is access to the A, C, J, M, Z, and G trains.
